Russian Tanks

T-34

The T-34 medium tank first saw combat in 1940. Its armour and cannon was excellent for when it was first put in service; even though its cannon and armour were surpassed in later years its quantity made it still very useful for the Soviet Union. Its armament was changed a lot but the armour mostly stayed the same. The T-34 had couldn't defeat the Tiger and Panther so its crews a lot of the time ended up ramming them with the T-34. 34.091 T-34s were made and that is not including the T-34/85.

KV-1

The KV-1 (Kliment Voroshilov) tank first appeared in 1940 and was better than the Char B1; the only other heavy tank in World War II at the time. It had super armour for the time  80mm at the front hull was unheard of before the KV-1 was first used. It at first had the 76mm L-11 but was upgraded to the F-32 76mm gun with high gun velocity. It was upgraded several more times but I won't mention them. Only the 8.8cm gun could knock out this thing at point blank range and after KV-1 drivers figures out that 37mm cannons couldn't penetrate its armour; they just ran over the AT guns.

JS-2 (Joseph Stalin)

The JS-2 was be Tiger and Tiger II killers with its 122mm D25-T cannon it could easily do that. Its armour was meant to stop 88mm cannon fire and have a good top speed bot hat which it did great at. Unfortunately it came a little late in the war to do a lot. It did however make it easier to take Berlin and it didn't take as many Soviet lives.
